BTCL is sad to announce the passing of Rajan Skandarajah who has been a devoted umpire of BTCL for a number of years.
He is a well known umpire within our community. He has always felt quite passionate about umpiring.
We are truly going to miss Rajan, who is a long standing umpire and member of BTCL.
May his soul rest in peace.

We are really saddened to write this message and unable to express our grief about Prathaban.
What a gem of a Man! His contribution to the community and his commitments to supporting and developing our community was immense. He was a Governor, Former Chairman and a committee member of BTCL. He was instrumental in starting up the BTSC Athletics. A selfless person we have ever come across. We have lost not only a great human being but all a genuine friend.

We are delighted with the kind invitation by the ICC, for the BTCL Colts children to take part in the World Cup 2019.
It is a dream for any child to even just to watch a world cup match, but what joy to play a part in the open ceremony. Kids who keenly attend our Surrey, Kent, Middlesex and Essex Academies will represent BTCL at the Oval on the 15th June 2019.
BTCL as part of diaspora community are delighted with the opportunity to join in an international cricket event of the highest esteem.
We thank The ECB, Surrey Cricket Board, The ICC and The WC2019 organisers for giving us this great opportunity.
